1. Roll-N-Lock unit impedes operation
of the OE Exteder option.
2. Requires drilling holes to mount tracks.
3. OE cargo management system must be removed & discarded
for installation of Roll-N-Lock unit. Consider Cargo Manager
option.
4. Needs eight (8) #2 bed clamps.
5. OE plastic tailgate cap must be replaced with 1/16" thick
aftermarket tailgate cap.
6. Specil Order Only. Must provide exact bedrail length at
time of order.
7. Uses additional flanges (inlcuded) that screw to the inside
edge of the OE bed rails. Allow additional 15 min. for installation.
8. Ships in two boxes. Additional shipping charges may apply.
9. OE chrome bedrails must be removed and descarded. Mounting holes will be visible. Consider replacing OE bedrail caps.
10. OE tailgate cap must be replaced with aftermarket tailgate cap provided with system.
11. If equipped w/OE tailgate step, cover must be converted to an "NT" (no tailgate lock) installation. Necessary components are included.
12. Reduces OE trunk opening to 15.5".
13. '99-'00 models require the use of eight (8) #2 Clamps.

"Auto-positioning feature" & "Tailgate locking option":
Roll-N-Lock offers a patented built-in tailgate locking option for trucks without locking tailgates or for those customers that simply desire added security. This optional feature automatically latches when closed or can be locked when absolute security is required.
Standard on every Roll-N-Lock is an auto-positioning and locking feature which allows the operator to conveniently locate the cover in a partially closed position or to lock it in the fully closed position, independent of the tailgate. Like the tailgate lock option, this entire mechanism is controlled by a central thumb lever with key activated locking.

Clamp-on Track:
Clamp-on aluminum side track design features concealed hardware for a flush clean appearance and is seated on a soft EPDM gasket preventing metal-to-metal contact between track and bed rail. Clamp system no applicable to Sport Trac, Flareside, or Supercrew.

Multiple Latching Positions
Just turn the low-profile thumb lever, and your ROLL-N-LOCK® truck bed cover slides open. A convenient integrated pull-strap allows you to draw the cover back towards you. As you do so, the ratchet-style locking mechanism latches in place at ¼, ½, and ¾, or totally closed positions. Simple!
Built-In Tailgate Lock
Keep your cargo secure with ROLL-N-LOCK®'s patented integral tailgate locking system. Our positive locking system secures your tailgate and truck bed cover simultaneously, for the most secure system offered by any truck bed cover application.
Unique Slat Construction
Our contoured design provides smooth frictionless rotation. In the rotated position, the locking flange functions as a positive stop, minimizing stress on the surface material. In the flat position, the locking flange traps the flange of the adjacent slat preventing disengagement when a surface load is applied.
Key-Slot Cover
To address the needs of our colder regions, we have developed a key slot cover to prevent water from entering the lock mechanism and freezing.
Flush Handle
Our handle mechanism does not protrude beyond the housing, thus allowing more useable cargo space immediately aft of the housing
Finger Insulator Grip
For very sunny and hot climates, we have incorporated a finger insulator grip into our design, which allows the operator to grasp the handle without burning his or her fingertips.
Drains
Two recessed drain fittings ensure rapid and complete drainage of unit housing.
