Jeep YJ - All Models
As a suspension company that designs suspension that perform,
we couldnt keep our hands off building multiple systems for
the late model JeepYJ. For months our R&D
department turned out multiple suspension designs to go out and
test undercover on trails such as the Rubicon and Sledgehammer.
After rigorous testing off road and many miles on road, we have
finalized our designs and now have a full line of YJ systems for
all levels of Jeep enthusiasts. |

3.5" Performance System
For 87-95 Jeep YJ (All Models)
Heavy duty front and rear leaf spring springs
feature nylon glide pads between each leaf for
a friction free ride. Front springs employ 5
leafs while rear springs are comprised of a 4
leaf pack. Front and rear spring eyes are
constructed with a full military
style wrap for superior
strength and dependability. The
transfer case is relocated via billet
spacers that allow the use of the stock
skid plate. |

8" Crawler Coilover Conversion Systems
For 87-95 Jeep YJ (All Models)
In the late eighties and early nineties the Jeep YJ
dominated the trail only to be replaced by the
more capable TJ in 1997. Fabtech revitalizes
the capability of the YJ with the introduction of
our high end 8" Crawler System for 1987-1995
Jeep YJ’s. As a bolt on installation this system
replaces the factory front leaf springs with our
Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover shocks and tubular
Radius Arms as found in our TJ Crawler
systems. The rear features a spring over design
with Soft Ride Leaf Springs, extended length
Shackles and a Floating Traction Bar. This
Crawler suspension can be order as a system or as a separate front and rear system.
Install this Crawler system with our optional
high clearance 1/ 4" thick steel
transfer case skid pan on your YJ
and you’ll leave the TJ guys behind.
Front Suspension
Heavy duty 1 /4" thick steel
axle and frame bracketry attaches the thick
wall adjustable Radius Arms to the
factory front axle housing or
aftermarket TJ style axles for heavy
duty trail use. Large 2" diameter
adjustable Radius Arms have a
5/16" thick steel wall with giant 2
5/8" forged link ends for
unsurpassed strength and maximum impact resistance. The tubular
Coilover system secures to the side of the frame and motor mounts
providing a solid structure for the Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover shock.
Installation of these Coilover mounts do not require cutting of
the inner fenderwell, keeping mud and water away from the motor.
The front system also includes a
replacement Trac Bar, Pitman Arm,
Quick Disconnect sway bar links,
bump stops and more.
Rear Suspension
As an option to the front system our
rear suspension design includes a
bolt on bracket system converting the
leaf springs to the top of the axle. We
provide a 4 leaf Soft Ride Leaf Spring
with nylon glide pads between each
leaf for friction free operation. To work in conjunction with the
Soft Ride Leaf Springs we provide extended length boomerang shackles
that offer over 14" of wheel travel
with superior articulation. A weld on Floating Traction Bar system
is included to reduce spring wrap and increase tire traction. This
rear system is compatible with the stock axle housing and most
aftermarket housings that have been set up with the factory YJ
leaf spring pad geometry. |
