When fuel and air combust in an engine's combustion chamber, a torque spike occurs that causes the engine's crankshaft to over spin and then rebound. This crankshaft activity creates torsional vibrations which reduce horsepower and create excessive stress and wear to the engines's crankshaft and bearings.

Bully Dog's Premium Fluid Dampers are designed to reduce torsional vibrations, which may lengthen the engines life and will improve its performance. While stock dampers are manufactured of rubber which are susceptible to breaking down over time, Bully Dog's Fluid Dampers are constructed with a silicone fluid and an internal inertia ring protected inside a laser sealed housing. These dampers outperform stock dampers by increasing horsepower reducing torsional vibrations.
