Base
rails sit on top of shims, which are all secured to the
truck through the stake pockets with rubber expansion blocks.
Here's how the installation works:
- Insert
the stainless steel cap screw through the base rail,
shim, and expansion block. A brass pocket nut holds
the assembly together.
- Insert
the assembly into the stake pocket
- Once
the base rails are in the correct parallel position
on the side rails of the truck, tighten the cap screw.
The pocket nut squeezes the rubber block - and it expands
within the stakepocket, securing the base rails!
