The Doublegate si manufactured of a high strength Centrex composite material over a structurally sound steel frame. It incorporates specially designed, patent pending, concealed hinges. Using 3 rotary latches and special stainless alignment pins, the Doublegate is completely secure when closed. Additionally, it can be locked shut, which works well with camper shells or tonneau covers. The Doublegate can be opened or closed using on hand. No more having to lower and lift the heavy factory tailgate, saving strain on the back, wrists and shoulders. The Doulbegate comes in OE factory matched white for each vehicle, which can be painted to match any factor color.
