Head Stud Kits:
ARP head stud kits are made from 8740
chromemoly steel. The studs have a whopping 190,000 psi tensile
strength, and are precision centerless-ground and thread-rolled
to Mil-S-8879 specs. Their black oxide finish protects them from
wear and corrosion, and ARP throws in hardened parallel washers
for uniform load distribution and accurate torque readings. Complete
set of 6-point studs, washers, and hex nuts for your application. |

Rod Bolt Kits:
These ARP high-performance connecting
rod bolts are made from seamless and defect-free 8740 chromemoly
steel. All ARP rod bolts are heat-treated before grinding and thread
rolling, and have a large underhead radius for greater strength.
Guaranteed to pass magnetic inspection testing, these bolts are
nearly five times stronger than OEM bolts. They're used in applications
ranging from stock replacement to Circle Track, marine, and drag
racing engines. |

Pro Series Wave-Loc Rod Bolt Kits:
ARP Pro Series Wave-Loc rod bolts have
a symmetrical "wave" on the shank that eliminates stress
risers. These bolts also have a .0005 to .0070 in. interference
fit to guarantee rod cap alignment and actually strengthen the connecting
rod. Made from ARP2000 alloy with a tensile strength of about 220,000
psi, they can handle more than 12,000 lbs. of clamping force. Nuts
and lubricant are included. |
